New Business Development Manager Freight Forwarding £35k -£40k + £25k OTE.
Our client, a multi-national market leader in freight forwarding has asked us to find a Route Development Manager to be based at their M4 Corridor offices. With 20,000 employees worldwide, a high profile client base, genuine career progression and training this is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic New Business Development person. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong long–term business relationships with UK and Japan e.g. internal resources, overseas partners and customers. Working alongside local UK and Japanese sales personnel, you will manage the sales process where appropriate; assist on UK * Japanese trade lane presentations whilst developing and maintaining own multi-national target accounts. The role will involve researching and creating a database for tender*contract renewal dates with reference to multi-national and large corporate accounts and ensure that the company are registered for participation.
Essentials skills include a minimum of 5 years experience in either sea or air exports, at least 3 years direct sales experience within the logistics industry and a proven track record in new business development. Please send CVs for immediate interviews.
